Teddy is my first yorkie (he's a parti), and I have to say that he was the easiest dog I have every potty trained. I know alot of people have problems with that, but he was a breeze, it took only about 3 weeks.
He sleeps in bed with me now that he is fully trained, before that he slept in his crate. I work full time and he is very good during the day if/when no one is home. He's usually alone between 3-5 hours and he has no issues, although he is very happy to see me when I get home. He meets me at the door and from then on he is attached to my side whether we're playing or he's just hanging out in my lap.
He's pretty easy going, but the person who said that you don't own Yorkies, Yorkies own you is absolutely correct
He has me wrapped around his little paw, and he knows it!
Long story short, he is the best pet I've ever had. I wish I could have ten just like him.
