How about going to the Yorkie Speciality in Oct..it is near Dulles airport?
You can call Mary (Thimbletip) and ask for time, directions etc...and tell her you want a puppy..ask her who you might talk to in Oct...locally. Plus, you are going to see many breeders from out of the area..you might talk to them ahead of time and they may bring pups with them.
