I watched a show about Menopause on PBS last night. It was a doctor giving the lecture. She suggested that what ever is on our plate be 80% good. We are to give up the notion of being perfect. She says try to eat good, don't diet, get some exercise and strive for 9 servings of fruits and vegies each day. Eat some protein with each meal. Avoid simple carbs like white bread, white pasta, candy, cookies, you get my drift. Think of how many fruits, vegies and proteins you can buy for the cost of one box of Alli!
