Hi everyone! We are so lucky to have gotten our Gabby today!
She's doing great, my situation is unclear because of our almost 4 yr. old yorkie boy, Skippy. We started out by giving gabs a bath, then brought Skippy down after a while and she was in her crate with the door closed when they met. We gradually have gotten her out of the crate to walk around the house and he wants to follow her everywhere-drooling like a faucet the whole time. The only time he has a problem is when she wants to snuggle with someone - he starts barking and growling at her. This is when I pull him back with the leash and take him to another room for 15-20 seconds and tell him to settle down, then we do the process all over again. Any suggestions on what to do when he does this? how long will it take for him to get used to her? I have 7 days off work to help with the transition.
