Yes, the standard for the Biewer calls for all white leg, belly and tri color on the face. Now, why I think that they say it's a new breed in Germany, which it isn't, is the fact that they have been breeding these guys selectively to get these exact colors for many years. So I guess you could consider them "new" Now if you breed parti to parti you'll probably get parti but you may also get a regular thrown into the mix because the regular color still hasn't been breed out of the line. But over in Germany they have been doing this for many many years and now it's a specific gene which just carries the parti color. I would probably just keep Reggie and find a parti AKC female, that way all the puppies in the litter will be able to be registered with AKC. Then I would make sure that if you get any regular colors, you don't let them go un altered unless the people know that they are carriers of the piebald gene. JMO...
