OH my goodness Sheilagh, I just did a search after reading your post on Mango's thread and found this!! Poor Coffee! I would definitely get that second opinion. I want to ask you about the swimming. My Mom says that you have had a lousy summer there, that the weather is unusually cold. What is the temperature of the swimming pool? Do you heat it? I ask, because perhaps warmer water would be more soothing. Do you have a jacuzzi attached to the pool, because if you do, it's possible that it can be heated separately.
I wish I knew more about this condition so that I could help you. But I think it is encouraging about the surgical prognosis, as Mike (AlaskaYorkie) and Kalina82 mentioned.
