Raw is very good for them! Just make sure you do your research first and buy a book so you know you are doing it right. Ian Billinghurst's is the one I have it's called The BARF Diet, but there are many out there. You will also notice much nicer teeth on raw. Because of other issues I am not feeding raw right now, but I highly recommend it. My dogs loved it and did very well on it.
