I have heard of that too, Rio had an eye graft done and it was I think 6-8 weeks of looking at that for me.He grafted part of the inner eyelid across Rios eye. It was awful looking but it too saved the eye. Amazing what they can do, the specialist we went to did nothing but eyes, he has done grafts on everything from reptiles to zoo animals. Reptiles????
