Oh Kristen! I'm sorry to hear about your bad experience ebay-related..
It's true, there are always a few "bad fish" ((Sellers/buyers-usually buyers)).
It does sound a bit unsual that they'll ask for shipping back b/c obviously it's not fair for you (to pay shipping out of you own pocket).. you listed it as best as you could.
Some sellers specifically state "No returns" to avoid having to deal with this.
However, Ebay is a great place where most, yes most, folks are looking for great deals and great finds.
