Yes, Sylvia he goes to Banfield the pet hospital associated with
Petsmart. It cost me $99.00 to sign him up initially and then I
do an auto pay of $19.95 per month. Teddy is almost 7 months
old and so my out of pocket to date has been about $179.00
and my vet costs that I would have paid would have cost me
about $1500.00 if he had not been on the plan. He was a very
sickly baby to start with and he was seen on an almost daily
basis for the first month of his life. I thank god that a friend of
mine had her insurance through their and had a good enough
experience that she passed it on to me. It is so nice to go in
and sign a paper and never have to worry about fees. The only
out of pocket that I have spent is on his heart worm medication
but his test was included in the plan. Like I said I like it and it
has been a pocket saver for us. I would never not go the same
route with another pet I get because I feel it lets me be a more
responsible pet owner since I never really have to worry about
money.
