I believe that this may be genetic - but also from lack of brushing teeth and having yearly (or even 6 mon.) professional teeth cleanings.
Hard food and Good Clean Teeth is just a Myth. It's like saying if We Humans ate only Crackers than our teeth would be perfect
I brush teeth and also use a product called PetzLife.
