I had no idea this could happen, I'm sorry you're going through this but thank you for sharing this information (warning).

Kylie made me give her the old one... now it's her toy vacuum (kenmore upright).

It's actually quite a funny story; I replaced my carpet with laminate floors and got a shop vac for my reno's, since I didn't need my old vacuum I decided to let her play with it just a bit more before I threw it out... unfortunately she was quite upset when I tried to get rid of it so now it's at the shop.

I think I'll put a nylon over the hose opening to prevent any possible accidents from happening.
