 Need advice on eating poop
First of all, I have to brag about him, he has been so good since we got him, which has only been 5 days. He is doing so well with his poop and pee outside, and actually enjoys sleeping in his kennel during the night. He goes down to sleep around 11 and does not get up to go pee till around 6, I think that is awesome. My little problem is, I caught him trying to eat his own poop, I know gross. Right now, I chase him around outside so I can catch him before he does it, I let him smell it afterward and tell him no, is that what you do? I also heard about giving pineapple, can you give it to them at a young age, he is only 8 weeks and does not have all his teeth yet, and can it be from the can. Please help, I have had 4 dogs and none did this (well not that I am aware of anyway), I would love for him to stop it. This is him the first day we got him, fitting in right away. Our other dog Nelly, is warming up to him, they play alot, Nelly is usually not that warming to other dogs but boy do they have fun. I actually enjoy watching them play more than watching the TV, which is alot. |
