Mine still run when I bring out the clothes, but we do it mostly for warmth, so I don't let them get away with it.

As for the computer issue, he just wants to play and has a lot of excess energy. I think the daily walks will help a lot. If you can tire him out, he'll be more inclined to want to nap when you're on the computer. Then again, he'll probably continue to bug you!
