i had a friend who was treated for endo as well...she finally had surgery and they found some stitching string stuck inside her
it was from where she had her appendix removed
so yes...definitely make sure you have it before being treated LOL from what i hear, it is usually genetic. if your mother had it...you could have it...etc. if it does not run in the family, it is less of a chance that you could have it.
