i HIGHLY suggest putting her in a smaller crate... you ONLY want to leave enough room for her to lay down.. so you might have to pack the back of the crate with a towel or someting to limit her ability to move int he crate. Put her by your bed otnight. Dogs are pack animals and sleep with their family. Also she will NOT be able to go all night without peeing, so if she is downstairs she will pee in her crate because you won't be bale to hear her cry. When she cries.. wait for a pause in the crying.. let her out to pee.. if she does... HUGE AMOUNT OF PRAISE and then back in her crate.. if she keeps crying let her cry it out... you know she has peed and is fine... Layla only cried the first and second night however did not sleep through until she was around 8 months.. so oyu need to have her near you so you can hear her. To this day (Layla is a year and a half) she LOVES her crate... tonight she actually asked to go in it because she was just so tired. Good luck... you'll be up a lot but we've all been there

if she has an accident don't get mad.. just change her crate, take her outside and then put her back in
