I can only speak in my area..Puppy Palace said they never had AKC...they use APRI and ACA...I called a few other places and two had no AKC and the third had two AKC Bull dogs, but they were not bought from a broker..a pet breeder brought them in...
I think it is a matter of percentages...fewer and fewer are AKC each year.
