EDIT: I have one more important question for you: Is it possible that an incident like this can cause permanent damage to her Pancreas??? |
FIRST, YAY for good news! I'm so glad the little punkin' is feeling better!
2nd, I would highly doubt her levels (in and of themselves) would cause any damage (I'm saying that, though, w/out knowing much else clinically about her) - they were elevated, but not off-the-charts - which is good. If it was a genuine case of pancreatitis - it'd def. be something you'll have to work with going forward, but it would be doable. Do you know Yorkieluv at all? She knows a ton of info on that subject, IF you need it (and I'm crossing my paws that you don't!).
Lastly, I CANNOT believe you said that about becoming a "nutritionist" bc I am actually looking into that very thing as we speak! How weird. I have a bach. degree in nursing, but this canine nutrition stuff has hooked me big time - so we'll see. How funny though!
