Vet said it was probably caused by the weather and turning on the heat in the house which stirs up some dust (even though the system is filtered) He asked how often I bathe her and I told him every week to 1 1/2 weeks. He told me to bathe her every 3 to 4 weeks gave me a bottle of ResiCort which is a hydrocortisone lotion you massage on after misting with water and Chlorpheniramine tablets. If this doesn't take care of it he will move on to more test and steroids. He said one of the dangers of them scratching is breaking the skin and getting a staph infection.
