I have to pick her up tomorrow morning at 8:00 to head down to the Veterinary Medical Imaging Center in Tustin (which should take about 1 1/2 hours tomorrow morning in traffic) for them to do a the shunt scan. They are starting that at 9:45 am and it will take all day. I can't pick her up until 5 pm. It sound like this will be the final test to determine which type of shunt she has and to determine if it is operable. The results from that test will be in 1 to 2 days so I don't know if that will be Friday, Saturday or Monday. I'll find out tomorrow. If she can have the operation I will have the consult next week and then they will give her a bunch of meds for a week and then operate. Thank you all so much for all your prayers. I think I am going to go to Lauren's house tomorrow to wait while they do the test on Teddi. I'm off to go visit with her. Here are pics...the first one is on Sunday at the beach (I was making a b-day card for my boss - just as happy as could be). Second one is from Monday when I got home from work and the last 2 are from this morning at the hospital when I visited with her.
Aaaw Ronda, when I look at that first pic of little Teddi at the beach just this past sunday, she looks like her adorable little "normal" self. Those last two break my heart, the difference in them. It just seems so unacceptable, the baby I saw chasing Mango and the other furballs around only 9 days ago, could be so sick now. It's good that Corinne and I are not too far from the ultrasound facility. Just give me a call in the morning. I am here for whatever you need.
Hugs,
Lauren
