I got this from my inlaws too. The last couple times we've been invited for family things to their house, they ask us to not bring our dogs. But my husband's 2 brothers and their families always bring theirs. My dogs are my family. And I feel like if they're not welcome, it's not somewhere I want to be. So we're staying home this year for Thanksgiving.
