Went to look at 4 females this afternoon. Took Romeo with me. They were from a home breeder and personally I think too young..6 weeks old...but I expected Romeo to act different. He was scared and didn't want to have anything to do with ANY of them. If they touched him, he tried to get away and once while holding him, one jumped on him and he actually growled a little. He has acted SO good with people and other dogs so far..I don't know if it was because there were too many, too rambunctous or what...so we decided to pass and my husband says he just needs to be an "only child" but I don't want to give up...I do think I need to get one between 4 and 6 months old though...I think a 4 month old would be good. He is 7 months today so I feel like I'm running out of time. I know the longer I wait the harder it will be....he starts puppy class next week and I know that will help...
