I was surprised that they were able to sew up his eyelid like they did it. We did not think it was going to heal up as good as it did. The skin was cut in a backwards L and it was folded away from his face. Very scarry to see that on your child that's for sure. We kept it slathered in neosporin and vaseline with a gauze pad loosely covering it up until they had to take the stitches out, then I got Merdurma(ms??) for kids and we used that too.
