Sorry if this is a stupid question, but let me see if I have this right...You prepare the apple pie mixture and put it in the oven for 55 minutes loosely covered with foil...Then you do the crumb topping and add the sour cream mixture to that...Then after the 55 min of the pie being in the oven, you add the crumb topping and sour cream mixture to the top of the apple pie mixture and place back in the oven without foil for 5-10 min.
