I had just dropped Lacy and Rylie off at daycare and was heading back to class. I was traveling on a pretty major road (3 lanes going each way at 50mph). I was in the middle lane about to pass by Albertsons and a car pulled out of the parking lot and turned left across our lanes..they really should have waited but I slowed down just a little to make sure they had plenty of time to get across the road. Well then the car behind them decides to turn left too! I was right there going at least 40mph at that point and had to slam on my breaks and vear right really hard to miss them. I don't know how I didn't hit those idiots...I definitely came very close. I'm so glad no one was right behind me or in that right lane. This is a college town and people suck at driving here...they just don't pay attention and take too many risks to save themselves a minutes. You wouldn't believe all the red lights I've seen run through..there are always so many wrecks here. I was in a wreck just a little over a year ago and it was really scary so today really scared me again... I called my mom and was all shaky. If I hadn't had to be in class I would have turned around and gotten that car's liscense plate number and called the police... And I would have been SO PISSED to have been in a wreck since I had an exam this afternoon and am leaving tomorrow to drive 5 hours to go to my parents. I'm glad I had already dropped Lacy and Rylie off.
