That's fine. Abigail still does that with some things, and she's 7lbs. This is giving them a grrrrrreat neck & shoulder workout!

No, I don't think Marcel is too small. Abigail was gnawing drumstick bones - not the little drummetts, mind you - when she was 9weeks old/2.2 lbs. I did hold it for her, and she put the hurt on that chicken leg! lol
MO, I would cut the meat up for him into manageable pieces, rather than going back to pre-made that sometimes has ingredients he might be allergice to (carbs, grains). Curious - forgive if I've asked this before; but, who told you he's allergic to chicken? A vet that probably has "issues" with RAW? And, yes, beef can be too strong for some to start out on.
