I had my bedroom have one deep red wall, and the rest of the walls were really hard to find a light color that went well with the red. The "cream" color that I had painted other areas of the house, and loved, looked very grey next to the red. So if you're going with another color alltogether, it may take a few tries of actuall putting some paint on the walls--this is what I had to do--to find the right one.

PS. Janell, that metallic gold sounds awesome. I"m going to be re-doing my family room, and I'm looking for a gold color. I definitely want to do metallic in the powder room next to it. I may hit you up later with questions about how you didd yours!  |
No problem Misty, it was a lot of work, but worth the effort....It's different, in a good way, at least we think so. I will take pics in the next day.....
