The bottom looks like it has some residue on it. It doesn't really like discolored or anything. I tried not to turn the heat on to much when I put it on.. but I'm not sure if that caused it or not.
I've washed it a few times.. I even let it soak for an hour or more.. still looks the same.

I do . . .I have all-clad and hubby uses the oven cleaner when so much black stuff comes on when cooking . . it comes out super clean and just like brand new . . he does not do this often though, only when there black stains occur. Try it.
