I have one. I am embarrassed to say that I don't know the name brand. I have had it for 5 years and have to go next month for removal and to get another one (thus think it may be the one you refer to). When I had it put it - it was agony. I wasn't told how much it would hurt and cause cramping. After the 1st day; however, no pain or problems. Since the time I had it put it, I have not had a period, ever! My Dr. told me that happens with some women but couldn't say if it would affect me that way. Well, let me tell you - it's been great. Just think of all the money I save every month not having to pay for feminine products! It has been a worry-free experience and I am very satisfied with the outcome. So good luck to you, but I agree if you are still hurting badly on day 2 I think you should call your Dr.!
