According to the vet (in regards to my Codie), Codie's current allergies must be entirely cleared up BEFORE I introduce raw chicken. If they aren't, then it will be hard to tell what's making him itch. So I'm going to give Codie another 4-6 weeks (because it can take anywhere from 4-8 weeks for whatever is in his system causing the allergies to go away) with no chicken and then if and when his allergies are totally cleared up, I'll try chicken a little at a time.

I would say that if Marcel is totally allergy free, definitely give it a shot (so that if he does have an adverse reaction, you'll know it's from the chicken and not second-guess yourself and think it's from something else).
