 Put to sleep
I don't know if you know this.... to the person who said if she bites someone but has a rabies shot she can't be put to sleep... but most areas have a 2 or 3 bite rule... if they get reported for biting and breaking the skin more than 2 or 3 times they are immediately put down...no appeals... nothing! They are considered a menace to society. These rules are in effect for the pits rotts and such... but even a small dog has to be treated the same (plus I had a horrible bite as a kid from a small dog... still bear the scar). My neighbors 1/2 chow attacked my son when he was playing w/ their kids....not once but twice. They had assured me that the first time my son must have stepped on a paw or something... I gave in and let him go over... he did it again.... and because her mother had left her the dog when dying I talked the cop out of putting him down... but they required him to be away from all children... including their own... then he bit again... and they put him down... luckily it wasn't my son that time. |
