Layla went in around 8 when she was spayed and got to come home around 6... she did not come home with meds as our vet felt that if she could feel the pain she would be less likely to run around and rip her stiches... she seemed fine without them... Layla is very sensitive to anethesia and things like that so she was out of it for a good 4 or 5 days... she needed help standing to go pee... i had to hand feed her.... and she too wore a onesie... she was 3 lbs and wore a preemie size.... she wore it for the first 4 days or so and then just at night so she woudln't lick her stitches... and she coudln't get wet until her stitches were out aswell. She did really well. You will be a nervous wreck... guaraneteed.. i cried when i left her there.. but don' let your girl see you upset.. it iwll just make it harder for her
