Isnt it all the same hair? As the puppy grows, the black is at the end of the hair strand and the blue is right behind it on the same strand. Thats why when the hair grows, the adult has darker hair at the bottom, towards the floor than at the top of his back. The darker hair at the bottom is the puppy coat. While they are pups, the black hair is slightly waviy because its short. The texture is sometimes a little different, but silky. My pups dont seem to have easily matted, cottony puppy coats anyway. |
