I agree with the other two posters... I've used that method as well. If Meka is way too hyper, I've had her just "sit" near me (it helps w/ training & listening)... she'll wimper a little (cause she wants to move/play), and I tell her no "quite time" or whatever and that works for me too. Its just like with my human child - sometimes you have to make them just "sit" and chill - otherwise if she played 24/7 she'd be bouncing off the walls ya know
