I'm in NM and there is a family here that has advertised for over a year about their lost yorkie Male - about 3 lbs. He finally showed up. Looking awful, but definitely not having roamed for almost a year. He had obviously been somewhere with someone. it was a happy homecoming to say the least.
I'd put an ad out, check the papers etc periodically.
You will definitely grow very attached very quickly, but even if he is claimed you will have the satisfaction of knowing you likely saved his life. |
