You have a legal obligation to try to find his right owners. Lauri has given you great adivce. I'd also contact the local animal shelters, vets, and the police department and let them know you have this dog and will "foster" it until it is either claimed or you get legal title of him. Be careful though about people CLAIMING to be his owner. You'll need to do some screening. |
