I just wanted to add something about the ear hair removal. i was also afraid to do that chore. so it only took one time visit to the vet to try it my self. I asked them to do it for me as i was afraid it would hurt them (dogs). they charged me $7.00 to rip that hair right out of there. there was no response from Buckeye so i mentioned it not hurting him. the lady said they do not have nerve endings in the inside of the ears. they may not like it done cause they will hear the ripping sound but it don't hurt them. if you get any of the outter hair it will hurt them. I do it my self now and it is no big deal.
