The coyotes here are not as big as our german shepard....they are small like a fox, but a little bigger. They are pretty, but I don't want them around because I know they will prey on our animals.

We had a momma coyote come up right to our porch one day....I opened the door to scare her off and Mojo ran after her. I had no shoes or socks on, it was raining...so I ran after him...luckily, I was in pretty decent shape then (I would fall over from exhaustion now), but I caught up with him...but he scared her away. Course, I knew that she would turn on him if she wanted to. Our neighbor said that the same coyote came to their place and they were thinking it was a female looking for a place to den.

We hear them EVERY night...sometimes, there are sooo many of them, it is sooo scary sounding. The big dogs keep them away from the house...we hear them down in the valley.
