I vote to keep him. If I lost one of my boys, you could bet that I would search high and low and not stop until I found him. First of all, he couldn't get too far because I keep my eye on them at all times, second there would be posters all over asking people to help me. If this little guy was in bad shape like you say, the owners didn't care about him in the first place and, he would have had to be gone for a long time in order to have lost that much weight if he was in good shape to begin with. I once found a yorkie on a busy street and searched all day looking for her owner, knocking on doors, asking in the area. Finally located the owner, she was indifferent to me and the dog, saying she got out all the time! Well I handed over her little girl, who didn't seem like she wanted to go and I left her. To this day I wish that I would have kept her myself. I would have given her a safer, more loving home than I'm sure she had. Keep him...Theresa & The Boys |
