I think the Customs broker in Denver was $125. We thought he was needed for our first imports and not knowing the area very well. I had no choice when I flew out there, as I still did not know where customs was and needed to spend my time with the dogs before leaving for Kansas. With a customs broker all I had to do was to go to cargo. They did everything else. If you get them the needed information when the dog takes off,(copy of the airway bill, not just a number, copy of the health papers, and a bill of sale) then they can have the dog cleared from customs before it even lands. This save the dog some time spent in the crate too. |
