I use the little latex bands, too. I got 150 of them in a package for little babies at Claire's Boutique. I have trouble getting them out without pulling my dog's hair, but they're cheap and there are so many of them, that I just cut them out. My two dogs wrestle alot, though, and they always have topknots that are lopsided!! I always take down their topknots at night.
