Yes, open fontanels are a common problem among the tiny bred yorks..(another reason while you should avoid breeding for below standard size dogs JMO). As far as I know there is nothing to be done about it, but pray that it closes and make sure you protect the soft spot from contact injury and try to limit jumping...someone else may have more info on other options.
