My sister's Yorkie is usually full of energy, always wanting attention or wanting to play. When I came to visit today, however, he followed us around kind of slowly and then kind of just stayed in the corner of the room we were in, he was visibly shaking and his tail down (covering his butt). My sister has been away a lot from him lately. She lives alone, just her and Sammy. Is this a sign of separation anxiety?? He didn't appear to be in pain (ie: didn't yelp or anything when we picked him up or touched his belly, back or legs) He perked up somewhat when my sister took him w/ her this time. Has anyone seen these type of symptoms before in their Yorkie??
