I would personally pick the vacation....
My reasoning....for me, my DH works all the time and so if I had the option to spend time on an actual "vacation" (no car shows, no business trips, etc) I would pick that.....the memories and the strengthening of our love would mean so much more to me.
I have two Yorkies, two labs and one German Shepard....I told my DH before we got Lily...that if I could have one more small dog, our dog family would be complete. AND I stand by that. Course, there are days where I seen a dog that needs a good home, and I have to really try to stay focused.
I know what I can handle and how many I can take care of and spoil and how many we are able to have taken care of when we need to go somewhere.
So, please look at all of that!
Either way...what a GREAT hubby!!! Lucky you!
