I will ask the vet if he thinks 31 days is too soon to tell if Lily is pregnant. If it is or if he is unsure, I don't think that he would charge me for a visit. Too bad we couldn't have them pee on a stick! I am so anxious to find out.
My Gracie is 44 days pregnant today. She didn't really start to show until a week ago...the hardening of the stomach area and these past couple of days, her milk channels are starting to swell. You can definitely tell she's pregnant now because she feels like she's swallowed half of an apple!

Hopefully, your girl will not have any complications during whelping, but in case, keep your emergency vet numbers on hand.

Just because she's on the smaller side and you bred her with a smaller male does not mean that she's going to have small pups. Do you know what is behind both dogs in their lineage? Since all yorkies were bred down from larger dogs means that they can have throw backs but it seems as though you're on the right track!

Hold off another week and I'm sure you'll be able to tell by then.

I remember reading in a book that the average yorkie litter is 2-4 pups. On average, Gracie will whelp 3 pups and London has only had one litter of 2.

Good luck!
