I have leather too, and when I get rid of it, I won't get another, until I don't have puppies... mine is all cracked up on top from where they've laid, and I have duct tape on it from where they've chewed..My advice would be to get something cheap(mine was over $3000), until there are def. no more puppies..
And mine does have scratch marks on it..
