My daughter use to compete as a skater and I know how you need to be focused on her, so I would opt for the neighbor. There is enough going on at a competition that you do not want to be worried about Teddy.
Some hotels absolutely forbid you leaving a pet in the room unattended. Be sure to check that out. If you stay somewhere really nice, like a Lowe's they might have doggy daycare. (But if you're like me that was out of the question by the time you pay for ice time, a private coach, music, skates, costumes, etc.)
I would go with the neighbor and the security home offers, unless you can find someone on yt to take care of them will you are at the ice arena. I have had 2 different yters take fabulous care of my dogs for me. |
