No, Please don't use any Hartz products!! They are not safe to use. My vet has had several cases of dogs becoming seriously ill from Hartz products.
If your new puppy has fleas, use dawn dish soap to bath it. Put the soap on when the dog's fur is dry and lather it up real well. Let it set for a couple of minutes and rinse of real well. Then use a regular conditioner. This will kill all the fleas and is very safe to use.
To prevent fleas get the flea medicine from your vet such as Frontline or Advantage. Store bought brands are dangerous to use. |
