Today when I was at the Petco Fashion Show, a woman walks by me with 2 girls in their late teens, and said what kind of dogs are those? When I said yorkies, she snarled up her face and practically spit back at me "That's what a yorkie is?"
I got the distinct impression she thought I was lying
Then she went slightly around the corner to look at a rack and she kept looking back at me giving me a dirty look
Oh, I wanted to say something, but goodness knows what. But this woman was so disheveled and uncultured looking - and she looked like she liked to start arguments
I think my 2 with their long coats definitely look like yorkes, but what is one suppose to do to educate silly people. Maybe I should have ran to the book section and grabbed a yorkie book & shoved in her face - lol
