Oh My... I feel so bad for you and your family.. I don't know what I would do if something like that happened to me and My babies. I always warn my husbnd when he takes my babies out. I have seen an Owl and a hawk right across the street. when I see them I just turn around and go right back into the house. I keep my little ones on a halter and leash when I take them out now. So sorry
